Tales are meant to be told.
Many were the days of that long miserable summer.  The sun beat down on the farms of the hamlet of Forthright with an uncaring heat that incessantly baked the people and the land.  Aside from the loss and damage to the crops, water itself became harder to find as wells that had been a source of liquid life for people and animals for many generations dried up fom the prolonged drought.  There was one farmer Edward, son of James whose well continued to flow.  His life would be forever changed.
